1. Why I emailed you
I'm Chris Benjaminsen, founder of Forgeable. If I emailed you, it was a single personal email about your work, offering a free conversation about where AI could save your teams time. This page explains what I hold about you and how to make me stop.
This notice covers business outreach to named staff at companies in the United Kingdom and Ireland. For people who use the Forgeable platform, see the Privacy Policy.
2. Who holds your data
Data Controller: Forgeable ApS (CVR 46157877), Denmark. Contact: legal@forgeable.com
3. What I hold
Your name, job title, company, your work email address, the public web page where I found it, and a one-line note on why I thought your company might be interested. Nothing else.
4. Where it came from
A public web page, such as your company's website, a press release or a conference page. My email to you says which one.
5. Why, and on what basis
To offer Forgeable's services to your company. The legal basis is legitimate interest (UK GDPR and GDPR article 6(1)(f)): a business approach to someone in your role, at a low volume, with an easy way out. You can ask for the written assessment at legal@forgeable.com.
6. Who else sees it
It is not sold or shared with anyone for their own use. Two services process it on Forgeable's behalf: Google Workspace, which sends and stores email, and Anthropic's Claude, the AI service that ran the search of public pages.
7. How long I keep it
If you don't reply, your details are deleted 12 months after my last email. If you reply, they are kept for as long as we are in touch. If you ask me to stop, only your email address and the date are kept on a do-not-contact list, so that I never write to you again.
8. Your rights
- You can object at any time, and I will stop. Reply "no" to my email, or write to legal@forgeable.com.
- You can also ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to restrict how it is used.
- You can complain to a data protection authority: the ICO in the UK (ico.org.uk), the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie), or Datatilsynet in Denmark (datatilsynet.dk).
9. No automated decisions
No profiling or automated decisions are made about you.
